About Strategic Bodywork
John is a certified massage therapist and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). He graduated with honors from the National Holistic Institute in 2001 and with over 720 hours of training. John continues his education yearly by taking special workshops.
An assessment is done for each of John's clients to establish their needs. Then he strategically blends both Western and Eastern massage techniques; thereby obtaining lasting results in calming, balancing and nurturing the mind, body, and spirit.
What differentiates us
When I work with a client I tailor my session on what the body needs. I focus my attention down to the cellular level.
I am always amazed when I find that sweet spot on the body that releases all the tension. It's like the body is an air mattress filled with lots of tension and ready to burst.
When I hit that special point, also know as a trigger point, the body responds by letting all that tension to escape. Many of my clients will be talking and in the middle of their sentence I find that spot and they fall into a deep sleep. The tension leave their body and relaxes to a point of no return.
This is where I set myself apart from the others. I listen to the body and get results.

Why we love what we do
I love helping people relax and assist the body to get out of pain. There are many aspects to the human body: Physical, mental, energy, and spirit all need to addressed. I love to slow down and respond to what the body needs. A therapeutic massage can be life changing.
