About Motion Enhance Acupuncture

Motion Enhance Acupuncture started on a Sunday morning on March 11th, 2011. We chose the name "Motion Enhance" because we belief motion is very important in daily life. Our body is in motion when we are awake, when we are asleep (even when people say you sleep like a dead pig). Being able to move allows us to work, play and live a healthy balanced life. When we are in pain moving become become annoying, stressful, awful, like it's a bad thing, a bunker on the golf course. When pain lasts for many weeks, month or even years, our body's ability to recover our range of motion will become increasingly difficult. This is because our bodies joints become stiff, our muscles tighten, degenerate or weaken and our tendons become tight.

At Motion Enhance Acupuncture we do not only treat pain. We also set our emphases on improving movement, muscle function, joint function, and to prevent pain from getting worse during treatment sessions. Our ultimate goal is to enhance our patient's daily living quality and body motion.

Acupuncture can create significant results when treating pain, it still has limits. At Motion Enhance Acupuncture we believe in identifying the other problems that cause pain, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments or other soft tissues. We will utilize other modalities like Tui-Na, Gua-sha (scrapping and cupping to take the pain away.

What differentiates us

Our goal is to provide high quality acupuncture and Tui-Na (Chinese-Massage, bodywork) care to our patients in a professional, caring, and personal atmosphere. We specialize in treating pain and pain management. Our goal is to treat the pain that our clients are experiencing and work to enhance movement and improve daily function. This treatment should result in a healthier, stronger you.
