About Nova Pilates
Freestyle Pilates, aka Nova Method, is an innovative style that further enhances traditional Pilates method with strategic exercises for fitness, injury prevention and rehabilitation as based on the principle of tensegrity, or moving human body through space as one integral unit. Combined with Tao breathing and principles of biomechanics and kinesiology, these exercises help clients gain cognitive awareness of their body structure, its capabilities and strengths. As a result, core and overall strength, breathing patterns, coordination, and flexibility improve tremendously.
What differentiates us
The Nova Method Pilates teaches body to expand while focusing on core compression, oppositional movement and stabilization from the inside outward, from the core center to the extremities. Principals of the Freestyle Method Pilates help clients achieve a deeper understanding of maintaining true body integrity during movement.
