Facilities I’m the back are a little scary and could use so:e modernization I see why the animals hate it. Diandre does the best he can. We’d go somewhere else if it wasn’t for him. He’s awesome and we hope the owners take great care of him.

I booked AND confirmed this appointment online. Brandy isn't even employed here anymore, yet nobody updated the system. Diondre answered the door (after I knocked b/c the door was locked at my 8am appointment time), and while he wasn't rude at all, he demonstrated zero empathy for my inconvenience. He basically denied any responsibility for the situation (which may very well be true), but a simple "I'm sorry about this situation" would have been more than appropriate. FIX YOUR SYSTEM!!!

Perhaps groomer was overwhelmed by too many clients and working while injured. However, that doesn't excuse his shouting and losing control of emotions and professionalism. I also heard him being irritable and rude to assistant. I could not manage to get him to calm down to discuss my dog.

I will never come back. Had I been given the option off rescheduling due to intense day, I would have. I only came because of referral by my hair salon Natural Expressions. This is not my neighborhood.

I must say that the reception sales desk young woman is wonderful. I have had her wait and assist me when I've come shopping. She is very professional, friendly and customer centered.

I'm sorry the groomer had a bad day. To his credit, he did not charge me tho' I offered to pay for bathing and initial grooming.

Leo looks great, his cut came out prefect and his nails were clipped well!

Brandy always does a great job with our rather high strung English Cocker Spaniel. We followed Brandy from her previous salon to Glamour Paws, and are thrilled with the convenience of the Montclair location. She gives him a great "play cut" which is easy to maintain (as long as you schedule regular appointments, which I kind of suck at). She is kind, caring, and does a very good job with him. This cut is shorter on the ears than I prefer, but it is my own fault for waiting too long to book an appointment (rain + long cocker ears = a matted mess). Now I just need to get better at scheduling regular appointments so she can keep him looking fabulous!

We are very upset and unhappy after today's experience. Our cat's fur was matted so we called for a quote and made a grooming appointment. When we made the appointment, we were quoted $55-60, though the receptionist wasn't entirely sure of the fee since the groomer wasn't in that day. When we brought our cat in for the appointment, they said the rate was actually double, $110. The receptionist there said "didn't you get my message?" which was odd since we'd spoken that morning when they asked me if we could come earlier and hadn't mentioned the rate change then. But fine, the groomer was a self-declared high-end professional, so rather than make our cat more nervous, we agreed to $110 and left our cat in the hands of your staff.
When we came back to pick up our cat, at first glance she looked okay, but then it was obvious, she'd been traumatized. No longer meowing--she was just completely silent and out of it. We looked at each other and said, what'd they do to her? When we went to pay, they charged $120--$10 dollar more than the on-site quote, that already doubled from the phone-quote. We asked the receptionist why they charged $10 more--they went into the back to ask the groomer--and came back saying "Well, I don't want to say your cat is bad, but she was nervous and matted," both of which the groomer knew beforehand when we agreed to $110. We looked closely-- and the "pro" trimmed her whiskers!!
We called the groomer when we got home, trying to resolve feeling both upset about the whiskers AND feeling ripped off. The groomer denied cutting the whiskers, despite that we have before and after photos and it is completely obvious--it is visibly noticeable to EVERYONE at first glance. Upon further inspection is also appears he cut one of our cat's nipples.
Also, when we asked again on the phone about the additional $10 charge, the groomer now claims it's because the cat had fleas--no word of this when we asked twice at pickup. For the record, our cat has shown no sign of fleas and is on regular flea medication. They had our phone number--it would have been both a courtesy and good customer service, to tell us if they encountered anything, or needed to charge more BEFORE doing so, or even when we came to get our cat, as opposed to handing us a higher-than-expected bill.
We've never written a negative review and only wish they cared enough to be reasonable, take responsibility for what they did to the whiskers, and get their quotes/stories straight. Very unpleasant experience, poor service, and more unfortunate, our cat suffered. Again, we've never had a bad experience like this, and we're left feeling ripped off, sad for our cat, and that they don't even care enough to resolve it.

Really warm place, first visit, my 1yr old maltipoo was comfortable and happy. Grooming was very well done. I will be back regularly.

Dan is an excellent groomer - our dog Fenton likes him and Dan isn't worried about his trying to bite. We followed Dan to this shop from another one. The schedule was on time, no waiting for our appointment - and Fenton was done in a short time - no trauma to him in a cage all day. The new look of the shop is also very nice.
