About Dorothy Waterman
Dorothy Waterman is a Certified Personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and The National Strength and Conditioning Association since 1991. Her professional expertise includes mat Pilates certification and yoga instructor. She has been helping people lose weight, tone muscles and enhance their quality of life for years. Her clients have included a fifteen-year-old soccer player, a seventy-four-year-old woman afflicted with rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, baby boomers "toning up," peri- and post-menopausal woman, successful businessmen, aspiring forty something athletes and many others. Dorothy believes physical fitness is a journey toward wellness of the body and soul, through self-discipline and personal commitment. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle and loves sharing her experience with everyone she encounters. It is her mission to enhance the quality of life of each and every one of her clients.
What differentiates us
I have lots of experience in many aspects of physical fitness: dance, triathlon, marathon running, martial arts, yoga and Pilates are all activities I have done or am currently doing. In addition, I continue my education by attending workshops, seminars and doing online educational study courses at home. I have an unending curiosity and hunger to learn more each and every day. I want to help my clients in the best ways possible.

I have received training from American Council on Exercise, National Strength and Conditioning Association, National Academy of Sports Medicine, Stott Pilates, YogaFit, Zumba Inc., Mike Boyle, Alwyn Cosgrove, Todd Durkin, Gray Cook, Lenny Paracino, John Gary, Samantha Lawrence, and many others over the the course of the last 20 years.

Being physically fit and living an active, healthful lifestyle makes me happy! I want to share my enthusiasm, knowledge and experience with all of those who seek my help. I feel great when I take good care of my mind and body. Getting enough good food, water, rest and activity all helps me to have a productive and satisfying life. I love being fit and healthy!
