About Memory DayByDay
Memory DayByDay is a program, based on person-centered care to serve individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia before the age of 65.
By offering memory screening, memory work, mentally stimulating activities, educational talks and emotional support, the clients and their caregivers will come to understand the disease process.
They will learn how to cope with the changing nature of the disease, adapt and maintain the intellectual ability of the one with dementia to live independently for as long as possible.
What differentiates us
There are currently no programs in the East Bay that helps the younger dementia patient.
I also want the caregiver to be involved in the program to the extent they want.
How we were trained
I am a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. I received my BSN degree from St. Louis University and my MSN degree from University of California, San Francisco.
Why we love what we do
I wanted to help those like by husband, Tom. He inspired me to seek better programs for those with early-onset Alzheimer's dementia.
