About C.A.L.M. Training
My name is Heather and I have a Siberian Husky who has been my companion for 11 years now, as well as two cats who I adopted from the shelter as kittens, both now 3 years old. I also have two Shih-Tzu's who are 2 years old. I have 2 years experience working at a pet resort caring for many different breeds or dogs, cats, and exotic animals. I am canine CPR certified. I currently work for an online pet supply store specializing in USA brand products and I am half way through graduating to be a Professional Dog Trainer. I spend my Saturday mornings training dogs at the Humane Society.
My older sister, Melissa, sometimes helps me out. She is a dog groomer with experience working with a wide range of dogs as I am. When she is not helping me, my boyfriend, Eric, takes that roll. He has experience handling big, excitable dogs and is very helpful in multi-dog households.
While your "fur"-babies are in our care they will be kept as close to your schedule as possible. If we are pet-sitting, whether it be for the day or over-night care, we do offer a complimentary long walk each day as well as going over basic commands with them.
What differentiates us
I am comfortable administering oral medication with or without needing to hide the pill in something, but I am unable to do injections.
I am canine/feline CPR certified.
I am currently in school to get my certificate for dog training.
How we were trained

Why we love what we do
Why I love dog sitting
I've had dogs ever since I was born, I couldn't imagine life without them. I've had experience with quite a few breeds growing up and many more since working at a pet resort. I'm comfortable handling dogs as small as teacup yorkies all the way up to mastiffs.
