About Acupuncture & China Medical
Dr. Jenny Qiu earned her doctorate degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (DAOM) in June 2017. At Acupuncture & China Medical, she provides a full scope of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is an expert in cupping therapy as well. The areas of her expertise include Lyme disease, pediatric care, digestion, depression/anxiety, neck/shoulder/lower back/sciatica/arthritis, sport's injury, post surgical/chemo, menopause, fertility/IVF support. Dr. Jenny believes strongly in disease early prevention and our body's inherent ability to heal.
What differentiates us
I grew up in a medical family and have been practicing for over 15 years. Since I was young, my parents taught me that what matters the most is how much you can help people. I lived, studied and practiced both in China and US, so I understand both Eastern and Western culture and am able to connect them. I completed my doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) at Five Branches University in 2017. My research interest was on treating Lyme disease with TCM, expecting acupuncture would play an important role on treating Lyme arthritis in conjunction with conventional medicine (antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs), as an effective pain-relieving and immune- and circulation-regulating treatment. As a mother of two active young boys and a runner, I am passionate about pediatric care and knowing sports and nutrition, preventing and treating sports injuries.
How we were trained
I believe strongly in disease early prevention and our body's inherent to heal. I studied Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM) both at Zhejiang University of TCM in China and South Baylo University in US. I am right now a PhD candidate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University. I have been a practicing acupuncturist for over ten years. It has been and continues to be a wonderful privilege to care for my patients and assist them to achieve healthy, happy, pain-free and balanced lives.
Why we love what we do
It is an honor to be trusted with another human being's health and well-being. It is a unique experience in hearing people's stories and helping people at their most vulnerable. It is also a profession in which people continue to learn and grow.

Jenny was very warm and welcoming on my first visit. She thoroughly questioned me about my medical history and my ailments. The acupuncture did not hurt at all and I had a good day with less pain the day after so I call that a win. I will use her services again and recommend her highly.
She was kind, knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and I left feeling better. I highly recommend her.
