About Recovery Massage
Recovery Massage began in December 2012 after a decade of gaining experience at salons, spas, health facilities, chiropractors, and massage clinics. My goal is to provide high quality massage with focused results. At the outset of every massage, as I palpate your muscle tissues, it will become apparent where you need additional work and how we should proceed.
What differentiates us
I blend all my experience to create a session tailored to your needs. I work very specifically, and I'm especially talented at finding the specific muscles which are troubling you, and releasing the tension within. I do tend to use fairly heavy pressure, but if that’s not amenable to you, just let me know and I can definitely use less pressure. Communication is very important in massage. If I’m working with you for an hour or more, we need to make sure we’re on the same page.
How we were trained
My massage education is from the Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy in Chicago, Illinois. I have additional training in PreNatal massage, Geriatric massage, Myofascial therapy, Neuromuscular techniques, and Shiatsu. Recently I have completed training in Oncology Massage and Manual lymph drainage.
Why we love what we do
I love what I do because my clients always leave happy, and I have made so much difference in their lives. I don't think I could find this fulfillment in any other work.

Enjoyed my first massage with Tasha. Feeling great afterwards. Clearly she knows what she’s doing. Only suggestion is that I could have used more feedback as to her thoughts as to what to work on. Will definitely be back for more massages.
Wonderful atmosphere and a great massage.
The very best massage I have ever had!
I will be a regular.
